Alpaca Fleece Dressage pad

The alpaca fleece saddle pad combines maximum comfort and pressure distribution for the horse with a sensitive effect of the rider's weight aids. This saddle pad combines the best properties of purely natural cotton saddle pads and lambskin saddle pads and at the same time offers the unique advantages of alpaca fleece as a saddle pad:

It ensures even pressure distribution, reduces direct skin-saddle contact and minimizes the risk of chafing. Nevertheless, the rider sits close to the movement and can influence the movement sensitively with weight aids.

✔️ Breathability : Alpaca fleece is known for its excellent breathability. It allows for efficient air circulation and prevents the horse from sweating excessively under the saddle. The horse's coat remains pleasantly cool and dry during dressage work, even during intensive training. Inflamed sebaceous glands will disappear completely over the course of the weeks.

✔️ Temperature regulation : Alpaca wool has natural temperature regulating properties. The wool keeps you warm when it's cold, so the back muscles are pleasantly warmed up when walking before training. Used in summer when temperatures are over 30 degrees, it ensures that there is no build-up of heat and that the heat can circulate so that it has a cooling effect. This means that this saddle pad can ensure optimal comfort all year round.

Since no leather hide is used (the wool is woven into a fleece), the saddle pad is significantly less bulky than a lambskin saddle pad.
