Our SEITTE (pronounced like Sadie) design is named after a beautiful gray mare that I rode as a teenager. After experiencing years of abuse, Seitte was a nervous soul – and often her anxiety mirrored the anxiety I was experiencing myself in that phase of life. 

Learning to calm my own nerves in order to calm Seitte’s – to be empathetic & compassionate towards her and myself – was easily one of the most valuable lessons I have ever learned from a partnership, and it continues to serve me every day.

This print honors Seitte’s grace; both that of her presence, and the grace she showed me.
